BRIEF

Since 1897, Hotel Martinique has stood as a Beaux-Arts icon on Broadway. Its marble staircases and mosaic floors tell stories of old New York. The goal was not to reinvent but to amplify that elegance with a refreshed identity that felt both timeless and alive.

WHAT WE DID

I designed a custom pattern inspired by the hotel’s mosaic floors, sweeping staircases, and ornate flourishes.

 

Subtle references to the Statue of Liberty were woven in, grounding the design in the spirit of the city. The result was intricate yet fluid, capturing the movement and energy of both the hotel and New York itself.

RESULT

The refreshed identity feels timeless yet adaptable. Bold enough to make a statement, flexible enough to live across every touchpoint, from print materials and digital assets to wallpaper and textiles, it carries Hotel Martinique’s story seamlessly through every detail.
